The right candidate will be willing and able to:
- Prepare complex tax returns and perform tax research
- Recognize areas of potential technical issues
- Work with other client service team members to manage their timely resolution
- Identify potential high risk engagement issues
- Serve as technical resource for staff and promote their understanding of technical issues
- Develop suggestions for resolving technical issues
- Develop and understanding of the general economic, business, and regulatory factors effecting the client
What you’ll need:
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Master of Tax preferred
- Active CPA license
- Minimum 7+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA Required
- Proficient in corporate, individual and partnership taxation and planning
- Previous experience supervising and training staff and seniors preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be highly motivated and experience in managing multiple client engagements
- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize accordingly
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and QuickBooks: Lacerte or ProSystem accounting software
